From October 21-23, 2024, AI4CSM was actively represented at the European Conference on Edge AI Technologies and Applications in Cagliari, Sardinia. On the 6th-7th of June 2024, AI4CSM project was presented at the Micro-Electronic Systems Symposium 2024 (MESS24) in Vienna. AI4CSM Standardization expert and SC8 leader Erwin Schoitsch from AIT Austrian Institute of Technology presented the project poster and a collaboration between AI4CSM, A-IQ Ready, AIMS5.0, and PowerizeD projects, creating Synergies in Standardization through Research.

On July 23rd, 2024, representatives from the AI4CSM project - Jakob Reckenzaun and Gerhard Dorn from Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH, alongside Moritz Schaffenroth and Martin Fischer from The Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden, met with Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Feigl, Head of the Department for Transport at the City of Graz, Austria. The meeting provided a “reality check” for autonomous driving technologies and how they could shape the future of urban mobility in Graz.

On May 22nd and 23rd, 2024, the AI4CSM consortium met at the last Plenary Meeting, which occurred in Vilnius, Lithuania. The meeting was dedicated to preparing for the final, very important steps towards the project's finalization! Partners had a great chance to align our progress on the ongoing WPs, SCs, and demonstrators to be shown at the end of the project.

On the 8^th-9^th of February, the AI4CSM project, together with A-IQ Ready, ARCHIMEDES, POWERIZED, FastLane, and HAL4SDV projects, was presented at the TechTalk 2024 strategic event in Barcelona, Spain. On the 24^th of January 2024, AI4CSM partner Gerhard Dorn from Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH gave a seminar talk at Silicon Austria Labs about how to realize perception for autonomous driving within AI4CSM using the programming language Julia.

It was the first live meeting of the project, aimed not only at preparing for the upcoming first Review but also at building a collaborative community that is working successfully towards the common goals of the project.

On 27^th of May 2021, forty one partners from ten different countries met in a virtual AI4CSM Kick-off meeting. The primary purpose was to present a work plan, introduce the teammates to each other, create collaboration and officially start teamwork for the upcoming three years.

In the beginning, the coordinating team presented the project vision, goals, objectives, major milestones, key challenges, and the main management principles. SCs and WPs leaders presented short overviews of planned tasks, activities and expected outcomes.
